DESCRIPTION:Please join us on April 21st for Earth Day 2018 as we roll up our sleeves and work hard to make our community greener.  We’ll be pitching in at the City of Mission Viejo’s event at Cordova Park to plant new landscaping and help beautify our community. The city will also be serving up free hot dogs and ice cream! So grab your shovel and your green thumb and spend the day with us as we celebrate this beautiful and crazy\, spinning mass we all call home. \nWhen: Saturday\, April 21st\nWhere: Cordova Park\, 26931 El Retiro\, Mission Viejo\, CA 92692 \nDetails: You’ll need print and bring a volunteer form with you. Get the form here.  Volunteers should wear hats\, gloves\, boots\, and sunscreen and bring a shovel for planting. We’re planning to wear our Canyon Dems t-shirts\, too! He is also a member of the Aliso Niguel Democratic Club and their former Chair.        \n\n        \n                        \n        \n                        \n                        \n                        \n                    \n\n        \n                \n        \n    \n    \n        \n\n\n        \n        NOVEMBER COMMUNITY OUTREACH\nThis month our community partner is Toys for Tots. \nPlease bring one or more NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts or Gift Cards from Walmart or Target ($25) to our meeting. \nRequested items are gifts for “forgotten ages”: \n – Toddlers from 6 months – 3 years \n – Teenagers – ear pods\, games\, sports equipment\, skateboards\, craft or jewelry kits \nOur Community Outreach Liaison\, Ann Owens\, is also collecting new bicycles.
