SUMMARY:3rd Annual Women's March
DESCRIPTION:Join Canyon Democrats\, thousands of like-minded citizens in Orange County\, and participants nationwide\, for the 3rd Annual Women’s March on January 19\, 2019.\nWe made our voices heard in the Midterms and now it’s time to get even louder to make sure the folks in Washington know we’re not done! This year’s March theme is Celebrating Women: Yesterday\, Today and Tomorrow. \nThe cost for the bus is $20 per person. Seating is limited and will be on first come\, first served basis. \n[themify_button style=”large red” link=”https://secure.actblue.com/donate/canyondemsbus2019″ target=”<strong>_blank</strong>”]Get your bus tickets now![/themify_button] \nOur bus will depart from the Murray Center at 24932 Veterans Way in Mission Viejo at 8:00am sharp\, and will leave the Women’s March in Santa Ana at 1:30 pm. Approximate arrival back at Murray Center is 2:30 pm. A restroom will be located on the bus! \nWe will be having an informal meeting in the Murray Center lounge on January 7th at 4:00 PM to discuss possible songs and other ways the participants from the Canyon Dems can show our spirit as a part of this year’s theme. \nJoin us for our Sign-Making Party a week before the March on January 12th\, too! He is also a member of the Aliso Niguel Democratic Club and their former Chair.        \n\n        \n                        \n        \n                        \n                        \n                        \n                    \n\n        \n                \n        \n    \n    \n        \n\n\n        \n        NOVEMBER COMMUNITY OUTREACH\nThis month our community partner is Toys for Tots. \nPlease bring one or more NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts or Gift Cards from Walmart or Target ($25) to our meeting. \nRequested items are gifts for “forgotten ages”: \n – Toddlers from 6 months – 3 years \n – Teenagers – ear pods\, games\, sports equipment\, skateboards\, craft or jewelry kits \nOur Community Outreach Liaison\, Ann Owens\, is also collecting new bicycles.
