DESCRIPTION:Join us for our virtual General Meeting! \nDr. Bill Honigman is an Emergency Room Physician recently retired after practicing for over 35 years in Orange County CA. He will discuss where we are in the process of transitioning from private to public health insurance and the goal of universal healthcare. He will also present COVID-19: Policy and Politics. \n“Dr. Bill” has been active in politics since his youth. He is an organizer for the Progressive Democrats of America\, acting as California State Coordinator and O.C. Chapter Leader. He is also a Coordinator for PDA’s National Healthcare Human Rights Issue Organizing Team. \nDr. Bill is a member of the Steering Committee for Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) California Chapter. He is also a member of the Aliso Niguel Democratic Club and their former Chair.        \n\n        \n                        \n        \n                        \n                        \n                        \n                    \n\n        \n                \n        \n    \n    \n        \n\n\n        \n        NOVEMBER COMMUNITY OUTREACH\nThis month our community partner is Toys for Tots. \nPlease bring one or more NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts or Gift Cards from Walmart or Target ($25) to our meeting. \nRequested items are gifts for “forgotten ages”: \n – Toddlers from 6 months – 3 years \n – Teenagers – ear pods\, games\, sports equipment\, skateboards\, craft or jewelry kits \nOur Community Outreach Liaison\, Ann Owens\, is also collecting new bicycles.
