SUMMARY:Dave Min: Town Hall for Our Lives
DESCRIPTION:Join Dave Min\, the CA Dem-endorsed candidate for CD 45\, for a town hall and conversation on gun violence. \n“Rep. Mimi Walters refuses to answer even the most simple questions from constituents about gun violence and the contributions she has taken from the NRA. \nTo send a message to Rep. Walters\, Paul Ryan\, and the rest of Donald Trump’s friends in Congress\, I’ve been holding town halls since I became a candidate. It’s this kind of accessible and transparent representation that elected leaders should practice\, and I’m showing you the kind of representative I intend to be.” \n[themify_button style=”large blue” link=”https://onlinecampaigntools.com/FormBuilder/ViewForm?key=ALkfu5Ne3hnRl2mdtvljbQ==”]RSVP NOW[/themify_button] \n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n Courageous Citizenship\nJeremy Cohen\, PhD \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Dr. Mike Moodian & Dr. Fred Smoller\nDr. Mike Moodian has served as a faculty member at Chapman University since 2007 and teached for the leadership studies program.  \nDr. Fred Smoller is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Chapman University where he has been a member of the faculty since 1983. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Michael Sall\nMichael is the DPOC Director of Democratic Clubs and an attorney at Sall Spencer Callas & Krueger in Laguna Beach\, California\, with a practice in legal ethics and business litigation. SUMMARY:General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our April General Meeting\nOur guest speaker for our April Meeting is Nate Epstein\, Candidate for OC Assessor.\n  \n“I am running for Orange County Assessor because the residents of Orange County deserve a fair and transparent Assessor’s Office. The role of the Assessor is to determine the value of all taxable property in the county for tax purposes. \nDuring my time in law school and now as an estate planning and trust litigation attorney\, for nearly the past seven years\, almost every document I worked on was impacted in some way or another by the Assessor’s office. Given my hands on experience with the Assessor’s office through transferring over 500 properties\, such an important position within our county government should be fair\, transparent\, and easily accessible to the citizens it serves. As such\, I will bring a new generation of leadership and vision to the office. \nMy goal as your Assessor is to ensure the hard-working residents of Orange County are not being taken advantage of by the current system. It is for this reason\, I have decided to run to bring a fresh perspective to the office that our residents so desperately need. I will be a fierce voice for the taxpayers of Orange County and work vigorously towards saving tax payers money and will help refund over-assessments.” \n\n \nWith so many new members this year\, we are also continuing our new Welcome Corner!  Between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM\, new attendees will be greeted and encouraged to meet some of our already active members\, find out more about the club and share your concerns and ideas.  We need everyone if we’re going to flip South Orange County blue.  So please stop by and say hi! \n\n\n\nDON’T FORGET! Political Outreach is doing a special donation to help the homeless right here in Orange County.  Bring any extra unused travel or hotel toiletries to the November meeting to help contribute. This includes disposable razors and toothbrushes!\nCLICK HERE to find out more about how you can help combat homelessness in our community.\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n Courageous Citizenship\nJeremy Cohen\, PhD \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Dr.
