Canyon Democrats come from the communities of Trabuco, Santiago, Silverado, Modjeska and Dove Canyons, Foothill Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo and others.

The mission of the Canyon Democrats is to advance the well being of our local communities through the growth and development of the Democratic Party and a progressive Democratic agenda.

Goals

To develop an engaged, diverse and committed membership.
To conduct voter registration in our local communities.
To collaborate with the Democratic Party of Orange County, the California Democratic Party and other Democratic Clubs in Orange County to promote candidates, causes and the Party.
To recruit and support candidates for local offices by actively campaigning for endorsed candidates.
To hold events of interest to club members on topics that are compatible with the mission, goals and objectives of the club.
To publicize club meetings and events by effectively using all types of media.
To take positions on issues and communicate with appropriate elected officials.
