Mary Navarro is a highly-qualified and experienced candidate for Orange County Board of Education, District 5.
Mary is a third-generation California educator with more than 35 years of experience in the California public education system. Mary has an MBA from Pepperdine University, a Master’s in Education and a degree in English and Communications. She has been a high school and college teacher, site principal at all levels -elementary, middle and high school, and a principal of charter schools. Mary also has had CEO experience as a district administrator of student services and as assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction.
Mary puts students first, and she knows education is not only the great equalizer -but that education is fundamental to democracy, an expanding economy and essential to our relationships in a global society.
