Also, we will briefly hear from Judie Mancuso, candidate for State Assembly District 72 at the beginning of the meeting. AD72 includes Lake Forest, Laguna Hills & Laguna Woods.

Michael Getto is an electoral and public policy consultant who administered democracy and governance and economic reform programming in Ukraine and nine other former Soviet republics, including Russia, for 16 years. He also worked in governance reform and election monitoring in the Balkan countries of Serbia, Slovenia and Romania. Michael now lives in Aliso Viejo with his Ukrainian wife, Iryna.
Michael is returning to the Canyon Democrats “by popular demand.” He spoke to us three years ago about the relationship between Ukraine and Russia. His presentation was extremely informative and dynamic.
Judie Mancusois the Democratic-endorsed candidate for State Assembly District 72.
Judie is an animal and environmental activist, as well as a highly effective legislator. Her lobbying with the California legislature has resulted in the passage of nearly 20 animal protection laws. In 2019, Mancuso was named in the top ten of the 100 most influential people in Orange County. She is the founder and CEO of Social Compassion in Legislation and a member of the Laguna Beach Environmental Sustainability Committee.
