Katrina Foley is currently serving on the Orange County Board of Supervisors representing District 2. Due to redistricting, she is now running for re-election in District 5. Orange County’s 5th Supervisorial District includes the cities of Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa, Dana Point, a large portion of Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Newport Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, as well as the unincorporated areas of Coto de Caza, Ladera Ranch, Las Flores, and Wagon Wheel
Katrina is a community leader, successful businesswoman, working mom and attorney who was elected as Orange County’s newest Supervisor for District 2 in 2021. She became Costa Mesa’s first directly elected Mayor in 2018 and served as Mayor from 2016 to 2020. She was on the Costa Mesa City Council for 12 years and served on the Newport Mesa Unified School District Board of Trustees from 2010 to 2014.
Katrina has two sons in college who attended Costa Mesa Public Schools. She lives in Costa Mesa with her husband of 29 years Casey, a local teacher.

Pete Hardin is a former Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps, O.C. Deputy District Attorney and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney. He is running for O.C. District Attorney to enhance safety, heal victims, and to restore integrity and professionalism to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
Pete was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served in Afghanistan and was the lead counsel in courts-martial and administrative separation hearings. After leaving active duty, he served as Deputy D.A. in the O.C. District Attorney’s Office and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. He began his own law practice after leaving the public sector.
Pete earned his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University. During law school he served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Judge James E. Baker, a former chief judge to the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in Washington, DC.
